The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Support Agency (NSPA) is a NATO-chartered Agency that brings together in a single Organization NATO’s logistics and procurement support activities, providing integrated multi-national support solutions for its stakeholders. Its creation falls within the framework of the new NATO approach to defense spending during austere times called Smart Defense, of which Smart Support is a key element.
A key and central function of the Agency is to manage contracts on behalf of NATO. It acts as a bridge between customer requirements and industry capabilities. With its robust, rapid and flexible procurement processes and capabilities, the NSPA is usually able to offer quicker and cheaper solutions to nations by implementing procurement regulations which are consistent with national and international competitive bidding regulations. Goods and services are procured through an international competitive bidding process, in compliance with NATO Support Organization’s (NSPO) procurement regulations.
As a qualified NSPA supplier Borsight provides weapons systems modifications/upgrades, including kitting and installations utilizing a combination of highly skilled hardware and software engineering teams, systems integration teams, and highly capable production/installation and field teams.
